I want to walk you through how to install the CIPA universal clip-on towing mirror.Now, the full purpose of a towing mirror is to give you full line of sight outside of what your factory mirror can't see if you're pulling a larger trailer. Here at the back of the trailer, you can see we have plenty of visibility. If I step outside of that, we lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2015 Infiniti QX60- Video

Rob here at etrialer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the K-Source dual lens towing mirror on our 2015 Infinity QX60. Now having a towing mirror's going to make it a lot easier to see what's going on behind you whenever you're towing a trailer so we can make sure that we're safe whether changing lanes or going down the highway.So here you can clearly see me in the factory mirror at the back of my trailer, but if I we're to move away, you're going to lose track of me. That's where our towing mirror's going to help out a lot. Whether we need to change lanes, pull our trailer up to the campground, back it up, or whatever we need to do, it's going to give us that wider field of view so we can confidently get down the road and make sure that everyone around us is safe as well.Our towing mirror's going to have two mirrors. The larger mirror is going to give us an accurate depiction of what's behind us, whereas the smaller mirror here is going to act more like a spot mirror. Now the way our mirror's going to be attached to our factory mirror is we're going to have these two rubber-coated straps that are going to secure it as well as this rubber pad that will protect our paint and grip the mirror well.The nice thing about the way the mirror mounts is it's not going to interfere with our factory mirror at all. more

Today on our 2014 Infiniti QX60 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Clip On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or a small camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to keep it that horizontal position you have that option. Now, it can also be adjusted to most angles. more

Today on our 2014 Infinity QX60, we're going to be doing a test fit on the K-Source Universal Clip-on Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or a camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most things. more

Today on our 2014 Infinity QX60 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or a small camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between both mirrors, the larger and the smaller one you get the same view, just a closer more clearer view in the larger one. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. more
